The Old Ghosts is a publication that explores life through the lens of craft, design, travel, tradition, and golf. We look to the time-honored and richly colored experiences that can be found outside of the worn path, both on and off the golf course. We publish weekly and will tell stories about interesting things we find along our journey.

The Old Ghosts aims to expand the aperture around the game, and will focus as much on craft, style, travel, gear, and epicurean undertakings as it will on golf. 

What is an Old Ghost?

"Old Ghosts" are a collection of people, places, memories, and adjacent areas of the golfing journey that speak to enduring principles of history and tradition. There are rich stories to be told about these, and they are often off-beat, quirky, and sometimes unheralded, but they are deeply rewarding for those who seek them out.

How Does This Work?

The Old Ghosts is a paid subscription, and supporters receive every story we publish. Additionally, The Old Ghosts will host in-person events to bring the community together. Our hope is for this publication to be a jumping-off point to a more complete journey in and around golf; and beyond the course.
